10 year anniversary of Mirror Mime

It is the ten year anniversary of Woody's exhibition Mirror Mime at YSP - Art Fund's museum of the year in 2014. City Reads invited Woody to curate an exhibition and host a drop-in workshop as part of their book club festival this May. 'Let there be pictures' invites Brighton to draw a family tree of characters from 'The Good Son' by Paul McVeigh - this year's City Reads' book of choice. Top Hats & T*ts - Raising Money + Awareness for Breast Cancer

As we fast approach Brighton's Artist Open House festival, one of Woody's characters 'Top Hat Tinker' has been in the limelight.  Tinker has always been a favourite with one of the studio's inspiring friends Sara Cutting.   Diagnosed with breast cancer in July and following on from surgery, Sara is currently having chemotherapy. To raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support and awareness of breast cancer, Sara has created the 'Daily Headgear Challenge',... Woody's Studio collaborates on a diverse mix of creative projects, from super graphics that adorn hospital walls to creative faciliation for research projects.  The studio also curates and delivers events for the education and arts sectors.

Woody, also known as Zara Wood creates, coordinates and educates.

A co-founder of The Enquiry Desk project and Brighton's PechaKucha producer for several years, she is an award-winning senior lecturer + part of the International Association of Illustration Academics forum.
