Welcome to the Terms and Conditions for www.zarawood.com By using these sites and/or by placing an online order, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions. From time to time we may change these terms and conditions without prior notice.
Who We Are
Zara Wood, also known as Woody, is an artist and illustrator. She runs a creative studio and also designs her own product range of art, fashion, stationery and homewares.
You can place an order online via our shop section. We aim to provide clear images of each product but please be aware that due to factors like computer monitor settings, colours may vary slightly from the actual colours of a product. All information including descriptions, prices and delivery options can be viewed for each item. All prices and payment will be in £ GBP. We use PayPal to process payment. You can review your basket, including the delivery costs, prior to placing and paying for your order. When you place an order, we will send you an email confirming the details of what you have purchased and the delivery option you have selected.
Please note that our the dimensions and measurements of our products are guides only. These are approximate and there may be slight variations in sizes.
We only process orders on working days (Monday - Friday) between standard office hours: 9am - 5pm. We usually process and pack items the same day we recieve your order - if that day is a working day. Our aim to pack and send out items within 1-2 day of you placing your order. During busy times this may increase, but we will always make this clear within the product delivery section and/or email and/or twitter: @thisiswoody

Returns and Cancellations
Unless an item is personalised or custom made, you can cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods. Please note that you are responsible for the postage and packing costs of returning items. We will provide a refund, which includes the outbound standard delivery cost, within 14 days of us receiving the goods back in perfect re-saleable condition. So please ensure that all items are returned clean, unworn, with all labels and original packaging intact. Please note that if you chose to upgrade your delivery (from a standard delivery), we will only be able to refund the standard delivery cost. This is in accordance with consumer legislation. Please make sure that any returned orders are well packed, as a reduction in the refund is applicable if the value of goods is diminished. We advise you obtain a proof of delivery when posting items back to us. We cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged items whilst in transit back to us.

Faulty Items or Items Damaged in Transit
In the unlikely event that items are faulty, they can be returned within 14 days of you receiving them and either a replacement sent out or a refund given. We pride ourselves on packing up your orders very carefully. Unless you choose a delivery option with insurance, packages sent standard delivery are uninsured and unfortunately we cannot assume liability for loss or breakage. However we will always assist, where possible, in your claim for compensation from our carrier. We advise that all damaged packaging and contents be retained. Please see above sections on Cancelling an Order. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of written cancellation. Where exchange rates of currency are involved, the Refund will be made in £GBP at the current exchange rate. We can not accept responsibility for any loss or gain caused by changes in the exchange rate between the time of ordering and the time of issuing the refund.
Sometimes we may increase our postal and packaging charges on our website in accordance with our carrier's cost increases. You will always be able to see what the current delivery costs are for each order prior to check out. Unless otherwise stated within each product’s delivery options, all items are sent via Royal Mail.
We can not be held responsible if items are not received before Christmas due to carrier delays.

We aim to ship Worldwide. For all items with the exception of certain large scale artworks, we aim to offer 2 set types of delivery for the UK and international orders. Unless you choose a delivery option with insurance, packages sent standard delivery are uninsured and unfortunately we cannot assume liability for loss or breakage. Once an order has been dispatched and passed to the carrier, we cannot be held responsible for that order. Our carrier is currently Royal Mail.
Large-scale and Fragile Artwork - Courier Delivery
Certain screenprints must be packed/transported flat and via courier. Presently we are able to offer free UK courier delivery. However, we are unable to offer a fixed option for courier delivery overseas. If you live outside of the UK, please email us for a courier delivery quote: email@example.com
When you order an item, you will always be able to check the current available delivery options and their prices.
UK Standard 1-2 working days - £3.95 per order - free for orders £75+
Our carrier aims to deliver your order within 1 working day.
UK Special Delivery Next Working Day - £9.95 per order - free for orders £125+
Royal Mail aims to deliver items by 1.00pm of the next working day (not including weekend deliveries). The Woody Shop cannot be held responsible for the carrier's late delivery. Insured up to: £500
Cut-off time for UK next day deliveries (UK Special Delivery)
Please note that our cut-off time for next working day deliveries is 13:00 (GMT). If you place an order before this time, it will be processed and dispatched the same day and delivered to you the next day. If you place an order after the cut-off time, it will be processed and dispatched the next working day - therefore delivered to you in 2 working days.
Signed for Deliveries
Please be aware that if items are returned to us, after Royal Mail has tried to deliver to you and/or the item has not being collected from a Royal Mail office, then the customer will incur the cost of resending the order.
Europe and World Zone 1 + 2 - calculated by weight prior to check out
We offer two types of international delivery: Standard and Tracked + Signed. With Standard delivery, our carrier aims to deliver packages to Western Europe within 3 - 5 working days and the Rest of the World within 5-7 working days. Standard international delivery only offers £20 compensation for lost or damaged items. Packages sent Tracked + Signed for are insured up to £250.00.
If our carrier is unable to offer international Tracked + Signed for a particularly country then items will be sent International Signed. The delivery time and insurance remains the same.
Please note that orders are sometimes sent in multiple packages depending on carrier weight restrictions and/or the fragility of the items.
We always endeavour to update our information in accordance with our carrier's terms and conditions, but we cannot be held for any discrepancies between the information stated here and our carrier's revised conditions. Information correct at time of online publishing.
We will only charge you the amount you agree to at the check out. However, please note that shipments to non-UK countries may be subject to import duties and tax. Additional charges must be paid by the customer. We have no control over these charges and therefore cannot bear responsibility.

Application & Washing Instructions that come with each pack. Adult assistance is required for using scissors and ironing. Not suitable for young children. This product is not a toy.
Useful tools to have at hand:

- fabric bag or garment that can be ironed
1 x Iron-on Sheet (for fabric) Application Instructions:
Please note that the iron-on transfers can only be used on 100% cotton or cotton/polyester mixes. Does not adhere to nylon. Not suitable for delicate fabrics. Always read our guidelines and the care instructions of the garment or accessory to see if compatible.
- Make sure your garment is clean and ironed
- Cut out the shapes you are going to use
- Peel off backing and arrange your cut out shapes on the garment
- Carefully place a press-cloth over the cut outs
- Carefully place a press-cloth over the cut outs
- Using a medium heat, carefully iron over the press-cloth only. Firmly press down the iron (on the press-cloth) until the transfers adhere to fabric - 15 secs MAX
Iron-on Sheet Washing Instructions:
- Short coloured clothing wash using non-bio household detergent 40*
- No Tumble Dry
- Do Not Bleach
- Medium Iron (no steam) Always use a press-cloth
Sticker Sheet Application Instructions:
- Clean & dry hard surface
- Cut out shapes from sheet or use as one big sticker
- Decide on sticker placement prior to unpeeling sticker backing
- Peel off backing from one corner, whilst pressing down sticker on to surface
Sticker Sheet Washing Instructions:
- Manual spot clean with damp cloth only.
Please note that adhesive effectiveness may vary depending on smoothness of the hard surface that the sticker it is being applied to. Not to be applied to crash or safety helmets.
Transfers + stickers may cause damage or leave adhesive residue if removed. Store pack in a cool dry area, away from direct sunlight. This product may lose its adhesive effectiveness over time. We cannot accept responsibility for any damage caused by the use, misuse or removal of this product.
Data for Online Orders
All information that you provide to us will only be used for the sole purpose of processing your order. We may need to share some parts of this information with other companies who process your payment or deliver the order to you. We will only provide these companies with the information they need to perform their service.
