Here at the Woody Studio, we are busy filing and sorting through our archive. Woody’s been creating for over a decade now, so there’s lots of visual delights. The Drunk Dolls Project – Drunk Punk pictured – started in 2001 while Woody was based in Melbourne. We’ll be posting more blasts from the past so watch this space. Enjoy.
When it was revealed to Woody that she has better than 20/20 vision, she put it down to excessive drawing. With a background in Fine Art, Brighton-based Woody produces art for the creative industries and public sector in Europe and Australia. Her Star Gaze collection for Topshop became the most successful artist range they had ever launched and her Little Treasures collection of miniature wearable art framed within vintage jewellery is highly collectable. Woody produces her own range of products and regularly exhibits. Selected shows include her solo exhibition Mirror Mime at YSP and Pick Me Up at Somerset House.
A keen advocate of bringing professional skills to creative talent, Zara is a visiting lecturer at higher & further educational institutions, as well as giving talks at museums and galleries on creative professional practice. She has also designed and led workshops on creating characters and experimenting with mixed media.
