This is a small independently run online shop, that sells art, greeting cards, postcards, prints and other products designed by the artist and illustrator Zara Wood also known as Woody.

We aim to provide clear images of each product but please be aware that due to factors like computer monitor settings, such things as colours may vary slightly from the actual colours of a product.

To do so will be an enfringement of copyright laws.


Prices + Charges

Please note that all prices shown next to a product are show in £ GBP and do not include Postage & Packaging charges.

An additional P&P charge will be added when you continue to Checkout. Although you are able to view what the delivery will be before going to the checkout.  When you have finished shopping and wish to pay for your order, you will be transferred to PayPal, which processes your payment. All Payments must be made in £ GBP.

We reserve the right to increase our postal and packaging charges without notice in accordance with our carrier's cost increases.

- Badges 
Please note that badges are not suitable for children due to small and sharp pieces.  We cannot be held responsible for any personal injury or damage to garments/ accessories while handling or wearing the items.  So the Woody Shop elves ask that you be very careful.

 

- Little Treasures Collection
Little Treasures is a collection of tiny artwork by Zara Wood encased in vintage jewellery.  The jewellery like us will not always be perfect.  We think that this is part of it's charm.  We will always endeavour to describe the jewellery as best we can through written descriptions and photographs.  Please note that these items are not suitable for children due to small and sharp pieces.  We cannot be held responsible for any personal injury or damage to garments/accessories while handling or wearing the items. As these pieces are art they may not take too kindly to be worn in rain as they may be damaged. The Woody elves would like to remind you to be careful with these vintage pieces; to look after them and we're sure they will look after you.

More information on Little Treasures

Little Treasures is a beautiful collection of wearable art framed within vintage jewellery by artist and illustrator Zara Wood.  Inspired by precious heirlooms and miniatures, each piece is completely unique and hand made by the Zara.  Victorian fob photo lockets become tiny portholes from which pet owls peer, delicate darlings bathe in the light of circling diamantes while a decadent bunny wears a velvet bow tie.

 

Sizing Guide for Apparel

The sizes noted within the sizing guide are approximate only and given to us my our garment manufacturers.  
To keep your t-shirts nice, Woody suggests you wash them inside out to prevent image fade. 

 

Delivery
Please be aware that delivery can only be made once full payment has been received. Sometimes funds can show up as leaving a customers credit or debit card account but will not be automatically received by merchant.  Once an order has been dispatched and passed to the carrier , we cannot be held responsible for that order. Our carrier is currently Royal Mail.

 

Delivery Options - UK

FREE Worldwide Shipping for orders £30 or more!!
Order from the Woody Shop online and if your order comes to £30 or more you won't pay for the shipping! Woo Hoo! Orders will be sent standard first class in the UK and standard airmail for Europe and Worldwide deliveries. 
Please note that proof of postage will always be retained by us but that these items are non-trackable.  See below for compensation guidelines as responsibility is with the carrier once posted.

UK Standard - Royal Mail First Class

The second most economical service taking between 3 and 5 working days. Compensation for items below 1000g are as follows: a postage refund plus compensation for actual loss up to the value of the item, or 100 x 1st class stamps at the first weight step, whichever is the lowest'***

UK Signed For
This is Royal Mail's recorded signed for service.  As the title suggests, a signature is required upon delivery.  Royal Mail aims to deliver the item the next working day and in the unlikely event of loss or damage customers will be entitled to a postage refund plus compensation up to the value of the item, with a maximum of £36.

UK Special Delivery Next Day (not including weekend deliveries)
Royal Mail aims to deliver items by 1.00pm of the next working day. The Woody Shop cannot be held responsible for the carrier's late delivery.  There is a standard compensation up to £500 or the value of the item - whichever is the lower.

Signature Required Deliveries (UK Signed For/UK Special Delivery Next Day)
Please be aware that if items are returned to us, after Royal Mail has tried to deliver to you and/or the item has not being collected from a Royal Mail office, then the customer will incur the cost of resending the order.

Cut-off time for UK next day deliveries (UK Signed for/UK Special Delivery)

Please note that our cut-off time for next working day deliveries is 13:30 (GMT). If you place an order before this time, it will be processed and dispatched the same day, and delivered to you the next day. If you place an order after 13:30 it will be processed and dispatched the next working day - therefore delivered to you in 2 working days.

All items are tracked until they leave the UK - and in some cases on arrival in the destination country. Via our carrier's website you will be able to check the progress of your item online until it reaches the destination country's postal service as a registered item.  When your item reaches its destination country it is handed over to the local postal service for delivery through their regular registered service. A signature will be taken at the delivery address.

 

European - Insured Airmail/ Airsure
Insured up to £500
Our carriers are able to deliver to these European countries:  Andorra, Austria, Azores, Balearic Islands, Belgium, Canary Islands, Corsica, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Madeira, Monaco, Netherlands, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Slovak Republic, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

Please note that orders weighing over 2kg will have to be placed in separate packages due to our carrier's weight restrictions.  Proof of postage will be acquired for each individual package.

Worldwide - Standard Airmail

Please note that orders weighing over 2kg will be placed in multiple packages due to our carrier's weight restrictions.  Proof of postage will be acquired for each individual package.

Tracking References
If you have chosen any of the following options: UK Signed for, UK Special Delivery, European or Worldwide Signed for; European or Worldwide Insured Airmail/Airsure - we will send you an email with a Royal Mail Tracking Reference. This will allow you to track the package/s using Royal Mail's Track and Trace System:

Additional Charges
Please note that shipment to non-UK countries may be subject to import duties and tax. Additional charges must be paid by the customer. We have no control over these charges and therefore cannot bear responsibility.

 

Returns
UK Returns can be made within 10 days of delivery. If you wish to make a return, please inform us in writing by email or letter before sending the order back. Unfortunately, items made to order/personalised are not subject to returns.  When returning purchased goods back to us, the customer will incur the cost of postage and packaging.

While in your possession, you must keep any products you intend to return to us in good condition. Products must be returned in the same condition as they were delivered in. Care must be taken to ensure the return products are packed well to avoid damage or loss of parts in transit.

Products returned which cannot be re-sold as new due to damage or wear and tear may be subject to a reduction in the Refund given. We therefore strongly suggest that items are sent via a postal service that offers proof of delivery and appropriate insurance, as we will not be held responsible for items that are lost or damaged while in transit back to us.

 

Refunds
Refunds will be processed within 30 days of written cancellation. Where exchange rates of currency are involved, the Refund will be made in £GBP at the current exchange rate. We do not accept responsibility for any loss or gain caused by changes in the exchange rate between the time of ordering and the time of issuing the refund.

 

Damaged items
If any item arrives damaged please contact the carrier immediately and keep the item and packaging used. A representative from Royal Mail may visit you to check item and packaging as part of compensation claim process.

 

Delayed or Lost Items
Once an order has been dispatched and passed to the carrier, we cannot be held responsible for that order.  Compensation, if any, will be from our carrier's Royal Mail and has nothing to do with The Woody Shop.  However we will always do our best to assist your claim to Royal Mail.  As standard, we will always obtain Proof of Postage for every order we send out.  For further details on compensations and claims please visit the Royal Mail website: http://www.royalmail.com/

Terms and conditions for Win a Woody Sketch October 2009 - NOW ENDED

1.   This competition closes at midnight GMT on 30th November 2009.

2.   One winner will be randomly picked from the public mailing list – to which people have subscribed to themselves.

3.   Only one entry per person (i.e. one email per person), no bulk or third party entries.

4.   No responsibility is taken for entries lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete due to server functions, virus, bugs or any other causes outside our control.

5.   The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.

6.   The winner will be notified by email on 1st December 2009. The winner is then required to inform us of their address within 10 days of being notified. Failure to reply within the given time will result in a substitute winner being randomly selected.

7.   We aim to send the prizes to UK Winners within 1 calendar month of receiving their contact details and Europe/Worldwide winners within 3 months.

8.   Winners’ address details will only be used in order to send prizes.

9.   Once the prizes have been dispatched and passed to the carrier, we cannot be held responsible for them.
